I was inspired by 山海经, Classic of Mountains and Sea, which is a Chinese classic text of mythic geography and beasts compilation of Pre-Qin China(before 221BC). The text I referenced is 文鳐鱼 wen yao yu, the fish with wings of birds, swimming in the day and flying at night.
